Soy wax is a byproduct of the soy bean. It is a renewable and sustainable wax that burns clean and has a longer burn time than other waxes such as paraffin (paraffin wax is a petroleum product). All soy wax that Bridge Nine uses is sourced from American farmers.
What type of wick do you use?
We use an 100% cotton wick to ensure a clean and consistent burn.
What type of scent do you use?
To scent our candles we use a mixture of high grade fragrance and essential oils. Our fragrance oils are phthalate free and formaldehyde free.
What is the cloudy appearance on my candle?
Are you seeing a cloudy appearance on your candles? Good news! That means you have an all natural soy wax candle! Soy wax goes through a natural crystallization process called "frosting," which creates a cloudy appearance on the candle over time. This process occurs more rapidly in extreme heat or cold. If you receive a candle that has "frosted," don't worry, it will not affect the way your candle will burn or throw scent. Below is an example of what a "frosted" candle looks like:
How do I become a retailer?

How do I place a wholesale order?
Placing a wholesale order is easy! Start by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll provide you with our current wholesale pricing, scent and container selection. Once you decide on your order, email us what you'd like and you're set!
- If your candles are damaged in shipment, please email us within 15 days of the delivery date and include a photo of the defective product. We will gladly replace it for you.
- If you are unhappy with the product you have received we will accept returns within 15 days of purchase. After that, all sales are final. Buyer pays return shipping costs. The candle must not have been burned for us to accept it as a return.
- If you have not received your order within 10 days of it shipping out, please track the package via the tracking number in your notification email. Then notify us via email no more than 10 days after you have realized it has not been delivered. If your package has been lost by USPS we will send you a one time replacement if USPS is unable to find the package after the claim process has taken place. To receive a one time replacement, you must contact us within 10 days of the package shipping out.
- If you purchase a candle online, you may return the used glass to one of our participating retail locations for a $1 credit toward your next candle purchase!
CANDLE MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY
The following tips and precautions will sustain a happy and safe candle experience: Please allow your Bridge Nine Candle Co candle to burn for approximately 2 hours, or until the wax reaches the edges of the container, the first time you burn it. This will give your candle a good ‘memory’ so that it burns evenly for the remainder of its lifespan.Keep your wick trimmed to 1⁄4” to help prevent smoking and soot build-up. Keep your candle out of direct sunlight. Soy wax has a low melting point and candles will melt in extreme heat and direct sun.
Do not leave a burning candle unattended.
